SUPRIYA VARANASI
Artist on a mission to add color to peoples lives
From an early age, I was captivated by the world of painting, drawing, and colors, and it became my personal sanctuary. As fate would have it, art became my solace when both my parents passed away, and I turned to it as a therapeutic outlet. In 2019, I embarked on my professional journey as an artist, delving into the captivating world of oil on canvas.

My compositions and paintings are a sincere endeavor to present a fresh perspective teeming with imagination, vibrant colors, and diverse textures. Guided by the talented Carol Hayward Fell, a qualified fine art graduate from UKZN in Pietermartizburg, I had the privilege of learning from her between 2019 and 2022.
With over three decades of experience, she has been an inspiration to countless artists.

Having had the opportunity to explore more than 20 countries, I have been awe-inspired by the sheer beauty of our world. Architecture, wildlife, and nature fill my heart with joy, igniting my creativity to find my unique expression on the canvas.

A pivotal moment in my artistic journey was the sale of my first professional painting—a rendition of Vincent Van Gogh's "Starry Night." It marked a breakthrough that instilled the courage within me to embark on this path. Since then, I have sold nearly 50 exquisite pieces of art, each bearing a part of my soul.
With the unwavering support and encouragement from friends and family, I found my voice through my paintings. I have had the honor of exhibiting my artwork in prominent exhibitions across India, South Africa, and the United States. Notable achievements include participating in the Eye for Art Gallery Exhibition and NCA Group Art Exhibition in Durban (2020), EACH-Khajuraho International Art Exhibition in India (2021), as well as the SAMM Exhibition, Diwali SA Exhibition, and Fall Festival Exhibition (2022) in San Antonio, United States. Additionally, I proudly showcase my art regularly at the BMM Art Gallery in North America.
My Purpose
"If I could say it in words, there would be no reason to paint." Through my art, I aspire to enrich spaces, ignite inspiration, and evoke introspection, ultimately bringing beauty and meaning to homes and spaces.
